RD is being redesigned... again

I was in the mood to start on some more changes to the forums and entire look of RD, and I've decided to start getting work done on a few particular things, such as new buttons, a new background, and quite possibly a new logo. You will also notice that I changed almost everyone's avatar. Consider that as a gift from me. Don't like it? Sorry, you'll have to re-edit your profile to return to your old one. But I digress...

This new redesign will take a while, and I was kind enough to let the forum stay open while I am in process of this (it will take several days; I cannot work for any long/extended periods of time), whereas I would usually lock everything down for maintainance. If you feel the need, I WILL allow discussion on this topic, but this is a serious change, so please try to keep on track.

For this period of time, make any suggestions for GFX updates here (i.e. the background, which is still up for suggestions), NOT in the GFX Feedback thread. Once I deem the updates done, I will lock this thread and delete it.

Um I hate having to post in such a old thread but it seemed like the best one for me to ask this question- Can you make it to were the PM thing changes when you get a PM, because I think it might cause problems if you PM someone and they don't know it.

I think there's already a dialogue box that pops up informing you of a PM.

Hmm, what if you log out when you are getting PMed? I think it should be like Friendcodes little Notification system (also present in Pokecommunity) were it tells you how many Notifications you have and you click on it and it tells you whether or not its a visitor message, PM, etc. Oh wait nevermind about the Friendcodes reference, (I forgot they installed a chat dilly at the bottom like on Facebook) use Pokecommunity as a reference instead.
