Lol this was a joke too see who would figure this out first. Congrats to Chozo! You win a trip to Hawaii (but you have to pay for it yourself)
In that case, I think we've all won. BTW, you still haven't fixed "too"
Edit: Now you have. Last edited by AngryBadger on Sun Jan 31, 2010 8:13 pm; edited 1 time in total See, I told you you hadn't.

Yeah, I kinda figured they were fake. Still pretty cool.

When I looked at Oakly's body I knew it was fake.. When I noticed Axolash's name I knew it was fake.. When I saw Anax as a fire-fox, I knew it was fake..

Yeah, now that you mention it, the fire- and grass-types look like eeveelution impersonators. And the water-type looks a lot like totodile with antlers.

On the EXTREME offchance my intuition was off, I didn't want to post my doubts.
I know where Chozo's going with this topic, so I'll just ask for an update, Chozo

Sadly there are no updates. Haven't worked on the hack since November, haven't done any drawing since before I came to college. Sad times for my pet project.

Pity, I enjoyed having a friend working on a game. Oh well, it's not like its going anywhere- years from now, you'll no doubt unearth it and continue on again.

Sexy. I like where this is going, but at the same time I'm skeptical. I hope they don't whore it out too much and try to call it "the next big innovation."

So this is truly real right unlike the stuff at the beginning. Those next three pokemon starters look good this time around but the water type looks like a small dolphin. Is that really innovation? We'll just have to wait and see.
And I'm liking the deeper 3d look to this, it's gonna be a far better camera perspective than what wii've seen from the others. I hope it turns out to be awesome.

The new 3D camera view is what I meant when I referred to innovation. This could end badly. I hope I don't feel alienated when this game finally comes out.

Why of course you're not going to feel alienated when it comes out ToC. Pokemon has always kept that same classic style of battling and I don't think they're ever going to change it. Like Diamond and Pearl, this will have a new visual feel to it, but it should all turn out the same in the end. I don't think there's anything to worry about.

Very small, but somewhat good update:
Remember, the best way to stay updated is to check the new Pokemon Sunday updates when they come out! (Saturday for us, being in the US)

Badass as this looks, I'm scared of the new 3D style. I'd always proclaimed wanting it for one of the larger systems like GC or Wii, but now that it's coming to DS I'm not sure how I feel. I guess I had always hoped that the 2D graphics of olden days would stick around, keeping the nostalgia alive. I honestly think that when I get the game, I'm going to start playing it, then go back and spend about five minutes in each previous game until I get to Red. I just might cry when I do.

I feel the same way, and by that meaning there isn't one thing about this post I feel differently about. The new 3D looks like it could be good, but I'm leaning more towards it being a total bust. Looking at how much the games have evolved (pun intended) over the years makes me wanna cry. I guess thats because it makes me feel old or something, but nonetheless it makes me feel this way.

Ahh, the video has been removed.. Too bad, I missed it. Well, anyway, if I were to see how this 3-D looked like in the upcoming pokemon games then I could give my thoughts out to the rest. But oh's well.

They all look so boring, the grass and fire types look like the same creature but altered to match the types, and the water looks like a dinosaur wooper. Dull, dismal, cliche designs. Definately fake.
