So like, how does one go about getting more rep? and also I'm still a n00b :<.

*Edit, i am now a beginner, does this have something to do with posts?

It does in fact go by the number of posts you have.
Also, I believe you gain one point for every post and three points for every thread you start. Not sure why there's a points system though, since the ranks are based on post number.

Yep thats how it is except you also get points for reputation.
